I can't believe no one has posted this one already... another one I use for "tremolo-practice" There's not much to it, so I currently use this as an intro to the Tim O'Brien song "Chameleon" (another short one).
I made myself an offer I couldn't understand.... Very nice picking.
Nicely done!
Poor Fredo.
I hadn't seen that there was a thread for this tune here -- I recorded it a while ago as a medley with the Godfather Waltz and the Tarantella Napolitana. All three tunes are at Mandozine in TablEdit format (although the Tarantella is slightly different from what I play): Godfather Theme (Speak Softly Love) Godfather Waltz Tarantella Martin

With apologies for reviving this old thread.... here's another version on a "period" instrument. I have to be honest these don't sound anything like as good as current mandolins, and yet, there's a certain authentic period charm you can't get any other way! Meanwhile I really must learn something new...
I guess I'll keep recording this one until I get it right! Here's a version for 2 mandolins and an octave mandolin:
Your arrangement for 2 mandolins and octave is very well done. Great playing.
This is my version, with a midi backing track.
Jairo, you have developed your own tasteful tremolo style. Well done again. I love the old instruments Tavy has restored and played in his 2013 video.
Tavy is an excellent musician, for proof there is that trio of mandolins ...
Very nice Jairo, spectacular performance with very Italian sounding tremolo.
Another video that make me want to learn tremolo. Bravi Tavy and Jairo.
Pierpaolo, a mandolin without tremolo it's like Sophia Loren without boobs and without buttocks (I hope that I will not be censored in the forum) ...
Very atmospheric, Jairo. I won't tell my own tremololess mandolin about Sophia Loren, and it is a flat-top anyway!
