Brought my new Jam-Master to the Sunday jam at Lucy's Bar & Grill in McBaine, MO. Wow! The chop chords really barked, and when I took a lead you could hear it all over the bar. I have a banjo player friend there who has been really interested in it, even looked up specs on the internet. He declared it sounded like an $8,000 mandolin.

Still fascinates me. I hold it up against my New York Pro mandolin. They look to be the same size, the New York Pro is shinier, but the sound difference is worlds apart.

Another happy JM picker. Yes they are AWESOME in everyway. From the time I've had mine there has been no problem hearing it in every picking situation I've been in. There might be a day sometime in the future that I'm able to aquire another mandolin, but one thing is for sure my JM will be with me from now on no matter what.
