This is a tune by Frances Cunningham, which I had no choice but to learn.
This is the first time I tried some vintage movie technique, and it contains some experimental bowing with a wooden wedge bathed in rosin.

Very creative version Bertram, and well played! The B&W matched that somewhat haunting melody.

    Excellent performance!
Definitely music for the premiere showing of an avant-garde movie, Bertram.
Dramatic, expressive, I can see connoisseurs slipping their Martinis, discussing.
    Love the rhythm.

Once upon a time there was a white bearded-man …

    Great rhythm!
Who like to learn and play new tunes and does it with creativity can’t really be an old man!

Good tune, good video and good playing, Bertram. The old movie style is an interesting twist to your video. Jimmy Page used a violin bow on his guitar at times when playing with the Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin. I can't wait to see Simon now producing a video with the wooden wedge idea for his drone sounds.

    Thanks for the idea, Bertram.
I’ve just been playing my fiddle with the G string tuned down to D to get a two string, double stop in D.
With a pulse on the bow it sounds very awe inspiring.

Thanks gents. I didn't know about Jimmy Page, but yes, that's about the direction. And Martini, shaken, not stirred, please
