This is a fairly obscure Scottish jig, published in 1798 by Nathaniel Gow (the fourth son of Niel Gow) -- so obscure that I can't find any other online version and it's not listed at The Session. They say that Scottish tunes are spikier than Irish ones because they were written down earlier before folk tradition had a chance to smoothen them, and this is an case in point: a really nice tune, but the wide arpeggios keep you on your toes.
