I must say it's an impressive body of work you have all created here. And fantastic work Barbara and everyone for keeping it going.

I'm visiting after many years away as we go through our 6th lockdown in Melbourne Australia. This will be the first weekend that I am able to play with one mate in a park for 12 weeks! But we are lucky and grateful to be in good health and have work.

My son just picked up this lovely Phil Cunningham hornpipe from his cello teacher and we will be trying to do some sort of approximation of the Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Hass version.

Harry, I agree that's a lovely tune - and well played. Thanks for sharing.

Were those trills I heard? I really like the effect. (I'm just learning a few embellishments.)

Hi Harry -- that sounds lovely! Well played!

"The Hut On Staffin Island" was tune of the week #509, back in 2019. The thread title uses the alternative spelling of "Staffen Island", which may make it more difficult to find:

A lovely version, Harry. Would be nice to add it to the official SAW #509.

Fine version, Harry. You folk seem to have had a pretty restrictive time of it for quite a while now, and it will be great for you to get back to live playing with other musicians. Hope to see more from you here in the SAW group.
