This waltz was written by Evelyn Tiffany-Castiglioni and is in Volume 3 of "Evelyn's Big Book of Mandolin Trios". I tried to learn the tune when the book came out in 2018, but I didn't get my head around it. Returning to the tune today it suddenly made sense and the parts started slotting together. It has a more classical feel than most of Evelyn's other tunes, but I like that.

Played as a quartet of two mandolins, tenor guitar and mandocello (second mandolin coming in on the repeat of the tune).

Nice waltz, Martin. The bass line has a life of its own. supporting the melody you make the Vinnacia sing.

Thanks, Christian. I really like Evelyn's arrangement here as the three parts are so independent. When I added the bass line to the melody, it really felt like a duet between the mandolin and the mandocello, which is why I mixed the bass line fairly high. The second mandolin coming in on the repeat then interjects little spiky questions into that duet.
