From the Edward Holmes MS c1846, Beverley.
-That’s Beverley, Yorkshire, North of England, not Beverly Hills, California.

Dark and dry and woody, like the walnuts' dance around the cracker.

You mean there’s just a little bit of wet tuning in there?

Great tune, great playing…pulsating along…Looks like a clear, cold morning…

-1C or 0C down in the village this afternoon John but there was an amazing inversion, so at the top of the hill it was actually hot!
Shorts, tee shirts weather, got a sun tan.
But now freezing down in the village again, even the cat wont go out.

Really enjoying these NE England tunes, lots of energy to them.

And oops, forgot to remove the tape and spare pick…

Once again a fine bit of fluent playing, Simon. The tunes you come up with are always unusual and very listenable.

Much appreciated John, thanks. I’m nostalgic I guess.
Wondered if the tune’s real name was Drops her Drink -because the dancing was just too much fun.
    Or even Drops off Drink.

Once again: thanks for the fluent picking, Simon!

    A fluent picking style?

    Or effluent?

Great tune and well played. And I think the tape and pick are symbolic clues with a deeper meaning rather than some random back ground objects. Maybe if my brain fog lifts I could figure it out....
