Here is a little traditional Italian music for you. This was usually played using a Sicilian shepherd's flute or whistle which was called the 'friscellettu'. Fischiettando means 'whistling around'. Please enjoy! TABS/Standard Notation available at my website.
A little different for you, Jason. But really pleasant to listen to. Very clear - all notes and chords clean and clear. I'll go back to YT to leave a comment - I was just there and didn't see it.
As Ginny says, a bit different from your usual, Jason, and a great wee tune. You play it so well. It reminds me of the tarantella in its drive and rhythm. Very clean chord phrasing.
Nice! Thank you.
Thanks so much everyone! Yeah, just for kicks I wanted to try something new so I'll be posting more Italian pieces over the next months. But I'll still be posting my Irish/Celtic ones as well. Can't leave those behind!!
That's beautiful! It may be a new genre for you, but you make it sound as if you'd been playing this forever.
