Ukrainian National Anthem

This is a rather folky setting of the National Anthem of Ukraine, played on two mandolins, with mandocello and tenor guitar -- it makes a really nice tune on mandolin, I think!

Thanks to the Vermont Fiddle Orchestra for the score:

Beautifully played Martin, it is a lovely tune.

Here’s a list of National anthems from other countries, it might be fun to post them all together in the one place.

-bit disappointing though, on that link there’s no Iraqi National Anthem.
    Another lovely tune.

Many thanks, Frank, Christian, John, Frithjof and Simon. The main motivation for seeking out this tune was of course the terrible suffering of the Ukrainian people in the face of a vicious war of aggression, but it is a musically very appealing tune to play. A lot of anthems benefit from taking them away from the bombastic arrangements of the state occasions.
