    This is a song from Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elijah", originally a trio for three women's voices (SSA), which I am playing as a mandolin/OM trio. Thanks to Evelyn Tiffany-Castiglioni for including this piece in one of her collections -- her score is effectively identical to this one:

    We play this frequently when we don't have a guitar player (or nobody fancies playing accompaniment). Works very nicely on mandolins, and fun to play.
