When I recorded this tune, I first tried to do it like Frank would have done: with double stops, hammer-ons, pul-offs, slides... But for me, that didn't work, so I played it as it's notated.

I think any performance is more pleasing for the audience if the performer performs in a way that is true to themselves…that way the same tune can be performed in different ways with each one being a joy to listen to. I enjoyed that, Christian, the way you performed it.
