I keep recording tunes thinking, this one just has to already be in the Other Tunes list...

Excellent reel playing, Simon. And I really like it when you bring in the backing. Are you playing the backing yourself or is it from a recording? It certainly works well in this tune.

Great stuff Simon! Now I have another tune to put on my lengthy "to learn" list!

I too like the backings on Simon's new tunes. This is a particlularly nice one to listen to a few times over.

    Thanks guys, much appreciated.
There are three backing tracks: the octave, an iReal bass line and a recorded drone. So a third of it is me!

I was trying to record Carolan’s Welcome at the same time...
I actually have some negative comments about my instrument choices etc. today, but will leave those for another day!

This tune is the second or third tune I ever ‘learned’.
I loved it so much that I could never play it right. I would always speed up until I’d achieved Tc.
    (crash Tempo).
Often at the same places, I’d be playing and then think, ok, here we go... again! Crash!
Ha, ha, we live and learn.

Enjoyable playing, Simon. The backing track works well.
