Hey Dan, Bill Graham's Loar tasting comments echoed comments I've heard before at John Gathright's shop about virzi's.
Bill's comment
"But I have to say, when it came to tone and power from treble strings up the neck, especially way up the neck, this was easily the finest mandolin I've played."
John had a really nice oval hole with a virzi for sale and it also had a very strong top end on the treble strings that seemed to cut much more than most I've sampled. Do you find the same with virzi'd mandolins?
