Grew up in IL, lived CO, NV, and now Wisconsin. I took up the mandolin this past January as something to take my mind off the pain due to a work injury. It worked, and 3 mandolins later I have the one I am happy with. I am taking Mike Marshall's online lessons since the self taught way ain't workin :-)
