Biography:

USMC veteran, from the hills of east Tennessee, world traveler, raconteur, grew up in a time when America and the Constitution mattered. Have jumped at 11,000 ft from perfectly good airplanes, rappelled from helicopters and high cliffs, been shot at and missed, swung at and hit, have wrecked more cars and motorcycles than is considered prudent, and just won a round with cancer in 2013. In other words, a tough old bird who plays mandolin and a few other instruments. I'm hoping I get to audition for some heavenly band when (if) I get there. If not, maybe I'll start a "Mandoliner's Green" to compete with "Fiddler's Green" in the afterlife.
