Experimenting with different string sets on this mando. Been a phosphor bronze (.011-.040) guy for years.... put on a set of GHS Bright Bronze (80/20) .. so far I like the softer feel and mellower...

The MD314 arrived today... Very cool mando... Shorter scale feel (neck meets body at 12th fret), bridge further back toward tail.. Subtle V shaped neck.. Full voice with nice low end... Great...
