    I have had good results with Simple Green un dilulted, a small amount on rag. Lately I have added it to my list of things to try before moving on to solvents.

    The transducers are very tricky to install. The type and thickness of the glue or adhesive effect the preformance. I use RTV silicone when possible. Putty, or two layers of the tape cools them off....

    Mr fox has had good results with old Harmony guitars. These usualy have a non adjustable truss rods so the neck has plenty of wood left. He may have started from scratch on the neck in this video.
