I've always thought this was a nice collection of simply arranged well- and lesser- known tunes.

Re: Tell me about Wernick Method Jam Camp

A friend attended a jam camp a few years ago, and he told me the attitude was "play what you can, don't worry about what you can't."
At least, try not to worry too much. :)

    Re: Travelling With Mandolin

You don't say whether you're in coach or a private room. Yes, you can play in your compartment, or in the lounge, as long as you observe Quiet time restrictions.

    Running version 3.23xx.
    Two complaints:
    1. The abc_import plugin doesn't work.
    2. The mandolin sound file doesn't sound very much like a mandolin. However, I don't worry too much about the sound...

Re: Worth setting up a cheap mandolin?

I think in many cases people are too quick to get rid of their first "el cheapo" mandolin. If you like an instrument you've outgrown, you could consider keeping it to use as a travel/camping mandolin.
