I tried a McCray pick last weekend, they are made in Monroe, NC. It was teardop shaped, a see-through blue pastic. Did not do much for me. Not enough heft or meat or something. YMMV.

The V-Picks are actually made of acrylic. After they are shaped, he smooths the edges by using a tiny blow torch. Problem is, I have yet to play one that actually has a smooth edge. I've tried...
