Hard case for army navy style mandolin
I have an Army Navy style mandolin that seems to be smaller than most cases. I have a Crossrock fiberglass case with pads. The body will fit when padded, but the space between the body and headstock is too short for the case. Could anyone recommend a hard case that fits a smaller mandolin? Or somewhere to have one made? I’m not looking to spend an arm and a leg, but I do want to protect my investment.
Thanks!

This TKL might work.https://www.tkl.com/products/21322-t...-mandolin-case
Oval hole Gibsons fit nicely, but I’m not sure about an A/N.

In a different topic centered on Army/Navy mandolin cases, it finally came down to the Big Muddy mandolin cases from Mike Dolak being a perfect fit. Here's the topic, starting right at the relevant post.

Good luck!

If you can get your hands on one of the old Breedlove mandolin cases it should work - I had one that was a perfect fit for both a Flatiron 2M and a Redline Traveler - here's a link to one that sold, solely for the purpose of showing the image:

Thank you! I’ll check into that.

Thank you! I also have two Big Muddies, so that’s probably a good idea anyway!
