All hail August 5! If we could go back in time we'd share some music with these folks. Guessing likker may have been involved! This would have occurred less than an mile from Cafe headquarters, maybe closer if in what we call South Park.

Heh heh - In honor of this event I may just have to subject a certain someone to some trashy mandolin music for her birthday! :):mandosmiley:

Never been one to sell t-shirts much, but even I'd wear that one if it existed. This always makes me smile, reading this. If there's ever a time machine, I know where I'm headed.

It’s a lot like when the management of SH Suites asked us to stop jamming outside the hotel at night during Mandofest. Some things never change!

I live in modern-day South Lawrence and had to wonder if these folks time-traveled or jumped a timeline to land next door to my husband and I, heh. Also, how do mandolins and guitars squeak exactly?

You have to order your instrument with the "Squeaky option". Otherwise, it takes years to master the "Squeaky Technique".
Now pardon me, I have to get back to being Hideous and Trashy.
