Flamboyant Silvestri Bowlback 1930s UK
This is very eye-catching and I think it is in okay order but has lost a bit of purfling. I have a 1930 Ermelina Silvestri Hawaiian guitar and it has the same inlays on the board and reckon this mandolin is 1930s. My guitar has a scale of epic proportions and is very loud but can be played Spanish style as the neck is not square. It had been in the same family since about 1930.The guitar has no nut and Koa sides and apart from that scale which makes for high tension, it has a low action and is easy to play if you like a wide board!

I like the look of that mandolin especially the inlay on the scratch plate. I will post pics here when on my computer.
