New Pomeroy 2 point on its way

I am pretty new to the mandolin and to the cafe. I thought I would make a post. I reached out to Don Paine, to build me a mandolin. It is now complete and should be on its way today. In the way of review, Don was great to work with. He was willing to build me a lefty. It is not the most traditional in looks, but it is exactly what I wanted.

I will attach some photos of what Don has put together for me. Needless to say, I am super excited. Just hoping to get another 9900 hours of practice under my belt, so that I can do my part to make it sound good.

Congrats! I have one of Don's oval hole mandos that has a similar color to yours, but not the cool inlay. Don's great to work with and builds a fine instrument. Love mine. I'm sure you'll really enjoy yours.

Love the wood, inlay, stain and off-set points! Bet it sounds great!
