I’m not sure but that neck looks pretty long. Could it be a plectrum? Neck joins body around fret 15 or 16.

You are right (that's why he's a moderator and I'm not. lol).
I gotta stop looking at stuff on ebay between 3:00am and 5:28am (but the neighbors dog was barking... Sic 'Em, Java).
Now, I've got to find a 5 string banjo neck (and tailpiece and biscuit saddle) to fit it.
Sorry, I am not a moderator, just a blabbermouth.
I have a Triolian tenor like this, although mine has a wood body. Neck/body joint is between frets 15 and 16 just like mine, so yes, this is a tenor.
A Triolian plectrum looks like this, with the joint between frets 19 and 20:

Thanks, Martin. I am not used to seeing the small guitar body. I stand corrected. My National tenor is a pear-shaped single cone.
Looking at the two side by side, I can see how it can be confusing.
Nice to have all that room above the twelfth fret. Makes ya wonder why National couldn't do, just a little bit of that, on their six strings.
WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS:
Picked this up this morning. This should satisfy my resonator search. Had to drive 150 miles. Listed for $1,000?!?!? Can't argue with that. Warranty is in his name so she's not stolen (I worry, then again I've got a few missing instruments floating around, out there). The newer National's are made better than the old ones (IMHO). Laminated wood but so are the originals. Did not think I would like it as much as a metal body National but after playing her... I'm impressed. She's a National Radio Tone Bend-A-Way with case.
Still, gotta wonder what that tenor sounded like.
Was concerned with pictures 9 & 10 and just got this from the seller.

There are no spilts and cracks in the body or neck. There are chips to finish and wear. Thank you and good luck!
That's a nice one Mike. Can I borrow it for a few days? And play like I'm Jerry Douglas [is that his name].
Lane, If you can play like Jerry Douglas... WE'RE GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!!!
Sold for $1,152.00 [ 24 bids ] plus $100.00 Economy Shipping (no case).
