Saga tells me it’s from 1986, seller claimed it was from 1978. Either way it was made in Japan and has a label I’ve never seen.
It is very lightweight and is fun to play although I’m not a big fan of the teeny frets

I love these! I had a 200s from the same era. It had mahogany B&S and it sounded really nice. I had to cut the nut groves a bit to make it play better and it was sweet! Helped cement my love for playing the mandolin. Enjoy!
I have a KM180-B from about 1980, same thing but all black. Very easy to play and fine sound, got better over time. Put new nut on with closer spacing and lowered action, smoothed the few sharp fret ends. Can take it anywhere without worries. Oh, and those oversized buttons (which I’ve never seen since) make it easier to tune.
