Old “No-Name” Mandolin, anyone have any info?

Picked up this pretty mando last week. It’s solid wood, plays good, sounds good but it’s driving me crazy not knowing what the heck it’s history is. Seller said he got it from a guy who made kit mandolins but it looks production quality to me. Looks like maple and spruce and it seems to be well made. Maybe a MIJ from 80’s or 70’s? It definitely has some age to it. Bridge, tail piece and tuners have been replaced. Any ideas?

I'm going to hazard a guess that it was made in Korea and imported by a guy in Houston as it's a total match finish wise for my mandola and the guy was bringing in mandolins at the same time. Nice instruments, no brand name, no real explanation.

This was after I had changed to a James tailpiece and Waverly tuners.
