Amanda Jewell pdf transcription from Skaggs - Campbell

Hello there!

I've been wanting to transcribe mandolin solos for a while as a way of improving my bluegrass vocabulary and, finally, I've been able to make myself start.

I didn't even had to think about where to start: Casey Campbell's Mandolin Duets album is a favorite of mine and a great mando resource, so I've transcribed the whole song Amanda Jewell, both Ricky Stagg and Casey Campbell's melodies and breaks. I've included finger positioning where I felt was needed. Overall, a fun and informative process!

And I thought, if it's done why not share it? So there you go, here's the youtube link where you can listen to my take on the song -a little slower than the original version- and download the pdf -link at the description. I hope someone can use it to enjoy playing it and maybe learn something new (I did for sure!).

Oh, and I'm already working on Andy Leftwich's incredible Big Mon take! :)

I'm glad it can be useful, guys! I just finished transcribing the melody and break for this Andy Leftwich's Big Mon version. My god, isn't he a monster! I hope to be able to study it soon and post it here.
