setups
Does anyone have a favorite luthier for great setups in New Hampshire? Also woudn't mind driving an hour or two. Anybody have a favorite? I have heard of Jack O'brien, and I know The Music Emporioum, and Acoustic Outfitters do repairs. Any help is greatly appreciated. Feel free to pm too.
Thanks!

Re: setups
Since nobody has responded...
No, I'm from there -just a skier- but have friends in both VT and NH. Since much of VT is closer to parts of NH than is much of NH (ow, my brain hurts), you may want to check the luthiers mentioned in the VT-players social group.

Re: setups
We're not not in the East Coast area, but we would be happy to set your mandolin up for you. It can be done fairly quickly even with shipping. The only downside is the cost of shipping.

Re: setups
I have had excellent luck with a fellow in Brattleboro, Vermont - Tucker Barrett. Great guy, great work. Very skilled. I have trusted him with neck sets and other major instrument surgery and I've been happy every time. Call him - don't e mail him. He isn't big on e mail.

Re: setups
Thanks everyone for the help. Even though nobody on here suggested him I have heard great things about Jack O'brien and have decided to go that route. :mandosmiley:
