Wohlfahrt: Studies for the Violin, Op. 45
Hey classical mandolin fans! I've been practicing Wohlfahrt's violin etudes on mandolin for a while now, and I've just posted a video of a couple of these short pieces on YouTube. This is my first upload, and I think I'll keep going! Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this. Nicely played and an inspiration to me. Am just starting on the mandolin (50 years of guitaring) and expect to mostly play for my own pleasure. Classical rep such as this is a goal!

Glad to hear it, and thanks for the kind words! These Wohlfahrt etudes are certainly a lot of fun to play, and a great way to learn the fingerboard.

Wohlfahrt is a permanent resident of my practice music stand. My mandolin coach prescribes them like pharmaceuticals - No. 3 twice daily before bed.
