'Good Vibrations' for 7 mandolins and 3 mandocellos
I haven't decided how well this video works, but it was inspired by a phenomenal piece of artistry. I remember hearing the original work while I was on my knees, scrubbing floors in Orwell, Ohio Public Library, about 1966.

' "Good Vibrations" is a song by the American rock band the Beach Boys that was composed by Brian Wilson with lyrics by Mike Love. It was released as a single on October 10, 1966 and was an immediate critical and commercial hit, topping record charts in several countries including the U.S. and UK. Characterized by its complex soundscapes, episodic structure and subversions of pop music formula, it was the costliest single ever recorded. "Good Vibrations" later became widely acclaimed as one of the finest and most important works of the rock era.[12] ...

That is quite an undertaking! Nice use of slide and bow, along with A/V technology!
That song was such a leap forward from the rest of the Beach Boys catalogue. It was like if the Beatles had gone from "I Feel Fine" straight to "Strawberry Fields Forever."

Well done, sir! Using a slide for the theremin part is brilliant. Then again, so many features of this arrangement are. :mandosmiley:
I suggested once to my duo partner that we work up this song. Arranging it for mandolin and ukulele should be challenging but rewarding.
