The next step is to apply to film festivals. A good festival can help a film to build awareness and also to connect with distribution channels. But top festivals will only screen a film if they are given the premiere, at least in their country or region, so no other screenings can take place before the festival premiere. Then once the film has had its festival run, it will move on to independent theaters, and then, lastly, it will become available on streaming services and DVD with bonus features.
Nice. And as much as I love all those mandolin players, it's guitarist Anthony Wilson who steals our heart with his music.
