Hi everyone! Yesterday I bought my first mandolin, from ebay: an Aria M-300. It's my first time buying any instrument without playing it first. I hope I made a good decision.

I've been trying to narrow down more precisely the specific model I got. Based on some Google Image Search sleuthing, the coloration seems to most closely resemble an M-300BG:

However, the head stock is different from all the pictures I've found online. My head stock:

Also most of the M-300BG pics I've found don't include pick guards. Would anyone here be able to help identify the make of M-300 I got (and possibly narrow down the year closer than "1970s")? Or be able to point me towards someone who can?
