Another 6 string conversion Q... bridges?
A friend of mine is giving me a Squier mini strat which I'm thinking of converting to a tenor in the cheapest and least destructive way.
Ideally I'd like to simply switch the bridge for a bass one if some exist of a suitable width, but I don't know if any have convenient screw holes (either directly over the existing ones or far enough away from them so as not to interfere with).
My other thought was whether I could swap out some of the middle saddles and replace with a couple of the offset bass ones like https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285047828724 or to get a reasonable string spacing.
Or even if there was room to put a short trapeze tailpiece on https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140962681680 or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314395988410 with some sort of acoustic or archtop bridge https://www.thomann.de/gb/grover_b_3...tar_bridge.htm.
[Currently I've simply taken off the lowest 2 strings and retuned a normal electric to 5ths to see if I can learn to play anything first :) .]

They make four string bridges for cigar box builds here is my conversion.

There's also the option of using individual saddles.

I'm missing something, or you're overthinking it. Just use the four inside saddles.
