Open Auditions: Providence Mandolin Orchestra

The Providence Mandolin Orchestra (PMO) is looking for additional players. Openings are in all sections including mandolin, mandola or octave
mandolin, mandocello, classical guitar and bass.

Requirements: Ability to read music and to perform at least at an intermediate level on the instrument. e.g. basic scales, ability to
adequately perform a sample piece (provided prior to audition), sight-reading ability, including melody and rhythm. Persons selected to join the orchestra must commit to weekly rehearsals in Lincoln, RI (September through June) and perform in our concerts three to four times a year. You must supply your own instrument.

Dates: Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
