Hopefully in a year or so i can say that i was self taught..but i know it will take some time..but my son is learning the banjo so i guess i can learn the mandolin..or should i say i know i can....

I have never played a stringed instrument before..so everything is new to me..i did play a trumpet in my middle school days but that was way back then..and i do know that a mandolin and trumpet are...
