I get this too, on my left ring finger. In addition to many years of mandolin playing, i also play Irish flute and i'm constantly using that finger to cut (quick grace note) all the other notes below...
the spruce one may now be mine; at the time i bought it there was also one in cedar at acousticmusic.org
anyway, it is a splendid piece and i do enjoy it:

Mighty stuff. Steve, you're an excellent player and the zouk sounds great -- is it the Crump? I'm really...

Which brings me to an issue I've been wondering about for some time. I've been trying to eliminate black locust on my land for years. #Farmers planted it all over America in the days when they grew...
How about this guy?
(actually sounds more like a 'dola... pretty cool though)
edit: another page with a bigger picture and a short review...
My Janish A5 has a radius fb and, after i got it setup at Gibson, has a really low action and plays like butter. I've had flat fb's that have had really high action, so i think it's more in the setup...
1995 Joe Foley mandolin
Light gauge strings (elixirs or martins)
Clayton white acetal rounded triangle .63mm
There's really something special about the sound of the Foley, i've gotten used to...

What terrible news, such a great loss to the world. May God rest his soul and give comfort to his family and friends in their time of need.
Dunno about "best", but Evan Marshall is pretty mind-blowing...

No bids so far.

What a beauty. #
I thought the Classicals were built for TI-type strings? #Looks like phosphor bronze on there now. Maybe i'm confusing it with the Phoenix Neoclassical?
