BTW, I passed on the info about K&K to the mic buyer at Musician's Friend. Perhaps they'll pick up the line (they're based in Oregon as well and like to support local manufacturers).

Always trust your own ears — pick the one that sounds best to you. A-T mics, particularly their 4000 series (4033, 4050 etc.) have a way of bringing vocals and acoustic instruments forward in a mix...
