Wow! Thanks for the information about both the Mann and the case. They both look great.
I wait until someone says they want to sell their RonO and then I do whatever I have to, sell my blood, whatever.
Dang! I'm still holding onto Green Tortex. Guess I better try those Wegens and Blue Chips! Thanks, yinz!
I recently picked up a Blue, solid body Rono from a gentleman in Texas, to complement my semi-hollow body, Homer. Who out there is strummin' a solid and who is holdin' a hollow?
That li'l Peavey that could is the Peavey Nano Valve. Bundled with that useless guitar in the beginners pack, it apparently went for $89.99. I got just the Nano Valve for $40. CHEAP!
I'd be interested in trading audio files with other RonO players to hear what yinz guys are up to. At the same time, I'd be willing to send you files of what I'm doing.
Sorry for the delay! I'll look for a model number on the Peavey. It can't match the Twin, of course, but I can lift it without risking that Twin hernia! I'm intrigued by the Dean Markley bass head...
Anybody else recording anything on their RonOs?
Anybody playing any RHCP on emando out there? I like to mess around with the material on Stadium Arcadium and get around on the Dani California, Snow, Desecration Smile, Stadium Arcadium and Hard to...
Too tasty, that!
My faves these days from the Book of the Dead are Help on the Way/Slipknot/Franklin's Tower out of Em and Shakedown Street in Dm. In the JGB area, I'm having lots of fun lately with That's What Love...
These days, I'm less likely to roll out the big Twin. You can't beat the sound, but even in a rolling case, it's a beast. I use a single tube Peavey that should have been part of a beginner's...
Thanks! I enjoyed your tunes and am glad to hear more RonO electric recordings. Gotta love that RonO tone!
Kibbitzing again, Mon Sherry? To the same end, I see.
Frank
Hey now, all y'all bloggers, floggers and goggers, and of course, Mon Sherry! Anybody outraged enough to sell me their RonO? No? I'm not surprised. They are just too sweet, aint they? But remember,...
IMHO, the bendability of the four or five string mandoblaster makes it a better option than an eight string instrument.
Thank you so much for the continued rehashing of posts made one pages 1 through 3 of this thread.
The Bill Lawrence rail humbuckers work well too.
Promises, promises. May I suggest Immodium for your infirmity.
Contributing? Contributing what? Nothing you have said has done anything but rehash other people's issues. I am glad that you have ceased to post to this thread. Maybe someone needs you to lionize...
Thanks, Ed! You finally owned up to the fact that you don't have anything constructive to add to this matter. At least I am willing to consider purchasing the RonOs that folks don't want, because of...
I would certainly consider purchasing a used RonO. Anyone who owns one and wants to offer it for sale, please send me a private post. Ed's endless churning of facts already well known from the now 13...
Mon Kibittzer! #Since you have never ordered, or owned, or sought to own a RonO, I find it guffaw-worthy for you to masquerade as anything but exactly what you are ... a rubber-necker at the disaster...
Mon Sherry! Every tool to its proper use. Yourself as well. For all your sound and apparent fury, what do you have to add to the resolution of this matter? Nothing. Instead you appear to want to...
