On a serious note, would you say there's a big difference between 685 and 660 scale length for a mandocello, and would 660 work reasonably well?

Finish line teflon bike chain lube does wonders on the gears.

Ironically, I found it pretty useless for lubing bike chains.

I'd want to play everything on them, but in reality it will probably end up in more capable hands of a local player who'll think that it suits his style.
