I notice that the open G string sounds ok but as I fret and start moving up my scales I don't get a good sound...rather I get a buzzing. I thought I wasn't pressing well enough until I pressed hard...
I may be an idiot but what do you mean keep fingers down on the fretboard... I play the note and lift the finger and move the next finger to the next appropriate note..I must be way off/
I actually feel like I am getting better at this mando thing...I was strumming to Handle with Care by the Traveling Wilbury's, and felt pretty good... BUT THEY WERE TWO FINGR CHORDS! C D G! now any...

That sounds about right from what Ive heard on the cd's, but I'' take anybody else's input too. #And playing by ear seems to be the best way to figure out this problem I'd say.
