    I once saw a high end builder that had fancy machining to de-mass the scroll block and to increase internal air volume. I can’t recall who, but it was a progression of it just being a strap holder.

    I had a similar issue…it was a few of the tuner button screws on a set of Waverlys, only slightly loose screws were able to buzz.

    Another potential issue could been grip shape or technique. If you hold the pick with fingers pinching at the tips, you might not have enough surface area for grip traction.
