A terrible loss to the musical world. He was a true giant of bluegrass/Americana music, and an inspiration to so many musicians in multiple generations. I remember hearing him play live with the...
NMC, but he played with some mandolin greats! At his peak a great vocalist, an inventive lead guitarist, and a monster rhythm guitarist. I loved every concert of his or performance on a festival...
Holy mother of pearl. :disbelief: We have lost some real greats this year. Maybe one of the worst in this regard ever, that I can recall. It's gotten to be a bit much. :( John Prine, Peter Green,...

The blast knocked a hole in the brick wall of the AT&T building and tore up some storefronts directly across the street. I don't think the damage extended more than a block. Carter Vintage Guitars is...

Both Carter's and Gruhn Guitars are a safe distance away from the affected area.
What a horrible incident and I hope those injured make full, rapid recoveries.
I have TKL arched for three of my best mandolins. They do the trick. I do have case covers for traveling for at least two of them. Of course, I am not doing too much of that lately.
I bought a HISCOX LITEFLITE "PRO II" from Elderly for my 1917 A4. Fits very well with lots of room for auxiliary stuff. I haven't traveled with it yet but it seems study.

The TKL works great. An excellent case all around.
That's good news! (plus a shop over in NJ seems to have one ... rather not do online shopping if it can be helped)
+1 on the TKL arch top case. I recently acquired a teens A-4 and the TKL is a very good fit.
