I use a Blue Chip Jazz 60. I tend to use the tip for faster,bluegrassy stuff and the rounded part for slower tunes. Love those Blue Chips!

Congrats! I have a 600 and I've been very happy with it,no issues,what so ever. I've had mine about a year or so and it's really coming into it's own. Plenty of bark and tone...you should be one...

I have a 600 and it's a smokin' lil beast! I've played a 700(for a few minutes) and it also sounded great! Either way,you won't be disapointed. The only problem is finding either to try out.

I have a LM-600 and it's a damn fine mandolin. I've A/B'd this mando with just about every Kentucky model and the only one that compared is the 1000 series. Just for the record,I've had mine worked...
