I don't remember anyone saying it, But I always bring a recorder. I've found a lot of new material at festivals[B]and cant seem to remember it all.

I use a small condenser mic. Behringer B-5 much easier to control the volume with it than an SM57... I couldn't get enough volume for live gigs with the SM57...
