We have just returned from all four days at Merlefest. We always get the 4 day reserved seats, but I can see arguments for unreserved too.
We camp at "Sewerfest" (Google it!). It's got RV...

Hmm...I don't really know how it came to be and it seems like it was a one or two day project. there was a period of time around this album when Dad and Red were playing together quite a bit, a lot...

I was lucky enough to watch a good bit of this album being recorded. Dad and Red were good friends, indeed, and loved every minute they played together.

RB, that was a great sum-up of the festival! I was actually at merlefest but missed Mandomania for the first time! I'm usually front and center but couldn't swing it. Too many choices to make-now...

Can anybody tell me how it was? This was the first time we've missed it!

Our wonderful public station WNCW did a little tribute to Dad yesterday. They played some Homer and Jethro and then later did a good bio and played "Idaho" and "That's a Plenty" with Don. Great...
