Re: Tenor guitar in 5ths a stretch

Tenor guitar in 5ths a stretch

I bought a tenor guitar because the 6 string steel has been a bit much for my aging left wrist. I was hoping that in octave mandolin tuning, I would be able to revive all my old mandolin tunes.

    I...

Re: A Regal tenor guitar with a history

Not many instruments come along with that detailed a history. It is the sort of information that gets you extra points on the "Antiques Road Show".

    Orange Crush Amps-Anybody have one

My wife and I have an old Hollinger PA-120 powered mixer with a couple of 150 Watt speakers that we can use to play out. More often than not, we just use a 4 channel Mackie mixer into a guitar amp...

    Re: Fret sprout question

You will need your erasing shield when manual drafting makes a comeback. I still have all my triangles, compass, templates etc.. Just waiting for that job offer.

    Re: Old Woodworking Machines

    Hello,

I do not consider myself a luthier or a real woodworker. I did think at one point that I would have more time to pursue building instruments so I picked this jointer up at a thrift store....

Minnesota state law requires that you own an SM57 and an SM58 before buying a condenser mic or pickup.

My wife and I have had these for 25+ years.
  25. Re: String spacing for 6 string to tenor guitar modification

The tuners work but I have to put a rubber band between the 2 unused ones to keep them from rattling. Replacing the 6 original tuners is not necessary for function, but more for aesthetics, although...
