    Re: Bobelock arrow case

I had one in the past. I liked it pretty well for the protect, and design.
One caution: I would recommend NOT getting one with the maroon interior.
Over time the maroon dye bled onto the...

    Re: Moon Wood

    FWIW
Some years ago I had Butch CLick build a mandolin for me using the Moon Wood. It was a very warm sounding instrument that still had a measure of bite.
And, I also gave a top set to a local...

Re: Cumberland bridge on Loar LM500 ?

    FWIW
I bought a very inexpensive pre-owned Mandolin from Ebay. I suspect it is a Pango due to the features and design of the truss rod and TR cover.
I had Tyler White replace the bridge with a...

    Re: Shipping Calton Mandolin Case

If you go to a store where they sell appliances you can obtain an oversized box, and make it into a shipping box. I have done this a few times. The appliance boxes are pretty sturdy.

Re: Want to take up the cello

    Cornelius M,

Curious. Since you have the skillset for using a plectrum (pick), have you thought about getting a decent mandocello and trying it out for a while? You could still get some really...

    Re: Looking for Indiana Luthier

    +1 for Tyler White
I have had him do a number of things for me on my mandolins.

I purchased what I suspect to be a used Pango. It sounded OK, but after Tyler did a full set up it works and...

    Re: Newest Kelley mandolin

Congrats on the newly finished Mandolin!
Love the look and sound on this one. I would guess, if not already spoken for, it won’t stay around the shop too long.
