  4. Re: How do you like your armrests (aesthetically)

Poll: Re: Do you use a Tone Gard?

Absolutely. It’s a great playing accessory. Plus it reduces belly sweat by 25%. An armrest used with a Tone-Gard makes it even better. Both the back and the top are allowed to vibrate freely.

Re: Adding a pickguard to an Eastman

The process is pretty straightforward using the two pin method. Most of the Eastman’s I’ve seen and installed pg’s on had a cantilevered fingerboard. I’ve done it two ways. First using longer pins...

Re: First pass at an armrest...

Most cases require adjustments to the top screws. The hardware is seldom squared and sometimes the hole are not drilled to help. I adjust every set.

    Re: Shoulder Replacement

I’m going to PT. They’re saying 6 - 8 weeks of light duty. I’m almost 5 weeks post surgery and starting my 3rd week of PT. It’s taking so long, just getting impatient.

    Shoulder Replacement

Bummer I had a reverse total shoulder replacement 5 weeks ago and still cannot play my mandolin. It’s getting better but a slow process. If there are any tips out there I’m all ears.
