    Larry the 23v at acoustic music works was amazing. Best mandolin in the shop to my ear. I love my 21 but the 23 was in a league by itself. Maybe that will be my future step up.

    I just purchased a Model 21. The label inside says Model 21. There is no V on the label. Does this mean it is not a varnish finish or are all 21's varnish ?
