I believe Monteleone has only built around 6 Mandocellos.... Rudy's is a bigtime Monteleone dealer, with an extensive history of dealing in his creations... at 110K, this 'cello could be yours !!! ...

There really just aren't that many Monteleone mandos out there...
Cold....dry.... air... snow to boot..... hats off to those guys to subject their instruments to that environment.... I'd sure think twice... now that is the palce to have a synthetic mando or bass in...
I agree ref the tone of the 23 vs 24.... however, some of that might very well be in the hand of the player rather than the instrument itself...

Sorry, but if you are asking this question, I fear that you might be challenged in hearing what is in tune or out of tune at ANY time. The answer to your question is : you need to check your tuning...
